Enhance and protect your interlocking pavers with sealing for driveways, patios, and walkways
Keep your pavers looking sharp and holding together for the long haul
Interlock pavers take a lot of abuse from foot traffic, vehicles, and weather. Over time, the joint sand washes out, colours fade, and weeds start pushing through the gaps. Sealing locks the sand in place, brings the colour back, and cuts down on maintenance, all without changing the look of your pavers.
We use professional-grade sealers designed specifically for paver surfaces, applied after a thorough cleaning and sand inspection. The result is interlock that looks freshly installed and holds up better against the elements.
What sealing does for your interlock
Locks joint sand in place, preventing erosion and keeping your pavers stable and level for years to come.
Dramatically enhances and enriches paver colors, bringing back the vibrant appearance of newly installed interlock.
Creates a protective barrier in joints that prevents weed growth and significantly reduces maintenance needs.
Shields pavers from harmful UV rays that cause fading and surface degradation over time.
Protects against oil, grease, tire marks, and other stains that can permanently mark unsealed pavers.
Sealed surfaces clean more easily and resist dirt buildup, saving you time and effort on upkeep.
A thorough clean first, then a proper seal
We start by thoroughly pressure washing your interlock pavers to remove dirt, stains, moss, weeds, and other organic growth. This deep cleaning ensures the sealer can properly penetrate and bond to the pavers. Next, we inspect all joints and replenish polymeric sand to ensure stability before sealing.
Once the surface is fully prepared and completely dry, we apply a premium-grade interlock sealer using professional equipment. The sealer is applied evenly to ensure consistent coverage and enhanced color across all pavers. As it cures, it locks in the joint sand, forms a protective barrier against stains and UV damage, and dramatically enriches the pavers’ natural color.
A complete three-step system to bring your interlock back to life
Over time, interlock surfaces can accumulate dirt, moss, efflorescence, and faded color, while joint sand gradually wears away. Our complete Interlock Restoration process tackles all of this through a three-step system that includes pressure washing, polymeric sand application, and sealing.
The result is a surface that looks like it was freshly installed and is protected for years to come. We highly recommend this process after any interlock repair work, as well as for any interlock surface that has not been restored in the last five years.
We start every restoration with pressure washing to remove years of dirt, grime, algae, moss, efflorescence, and organic stains from the pavers and joints. Our commercial-grade equipment provides the right pressure to deep-clean without damaging the surface. This step is essential, as sealer and sand will not perform properly over a dirty surface.
After cleaning, we refill the joints with premium polymeric sand. Unlike regular sand, polymeric sand hardens when activated with water, locking firmly in place. This creates stable, flexible joints that resist rain washout, prevent weed growth, and minimize paver movement. Proper polymeric sanding greatly extends the life and stability of your surface.
The final step is applying a premium interlock sealer over the clean, sanded surface. The sealer bonds to the pavers, locking in the sand, enhancing color, and creating a protective barrier against oil, grease, stains, UV fading, and freeze-thaw damage. We offer both natural and wet-look finishes. Once cured, your interlock will look vibrant and be easier to maintain.
